We got up early and headed out to the pick up point and we were taken to the docks and we boarded the ship. We knew it was going to be cold out on the water so we bundled up and took extra Bonine just in case.
On the way out we asked the security guy if we could go take a picture at the sign and he let us.
We had a pleasant trip out to sea and they spotted Minke whales and Jim saw one but I didn't. Later they spotted a Humpback whale and I saw that one! It was awesome. I was watching so there are only two pictures.
There was a small lighthouse so of course I had to take a picture.
Us on the boat.
Okay... it' not much but the spray in the middle of the water is the whale blowing out of his blowhole. It's small but it's there.
In this picture the little black spot in the water is the whale. As I said I was more interested in seeing the whale than taking a picture of one, but that is a whale and while he didn't show much of himself it was neat to see him.
I plan on seeing more whales on our travels and hopefully get more of a picture of them.
One of the self cleaning water closets in town and it was free!!
We did some shopping and picked up a couple of things. We had to get back to the ship by 2:30 and we sailed away at 3:00 pm.
This was our position at 5:39 pm.
We had to move our clocks ahead 1 hour last night to align with the UK time. We had dinner at Tuscan Grille last night as well.
It will be nice to sleep in tomorrow morning a tomorrow is a sea day.
