Paris!!

We traveled a short distance from Versailles to the Hilton at the Charles de Gaulle airport where we'll pick up my sister and brother-in-law tomorrow morning and drive to Normandy.

Today we toured Paris! I wanted to see Sainte Chappelle which was being renovated when we were here in 2010. It has the most beautiful stained glass windows I've ever seen.

There are 15 stained glass windows with 1,113 scenes that tell the story of mankind from Genesis through Christ's resurrection.

We walked over to the Notre Dame for a selfie.

We got on the Hop on - Hop off bus for a ride around the city.

Then the Eiffel Tower! My favorite!!

We got off and had lunch at a favorite place, L'entrecote..... Steak and frites!

Then we walked over to the Arc de Triomphe. The line was ridiculous so we just walked around and took another selfie.


















And we walked down the Champs Elysees.

We were tired and ready to get back to our hotel. Onto the Metro we went. It so reminds me of DC.








All snuggled in at the Hilton. We went on a treasure hunt for ice... things are just different here in Europe. Gotta love it.
