Chateau Versailles - The Palace

Today we toured the Chateau Versailles. The estate is huge and the gardens even more so.

Those are just some of the pictures I took today. I'm not sure why I took so many. We bought a book that will identify the things I took pictures of as well as tell the story. The pictures don't really tell the story when you don't remember what you're looking at.

We walked back through town and picked up some water bottles for our room and just lounged around in this beautiful room with the doors open and a beautiful light breeze blowing in... until a bee decided to come visit and I chased him our and closed the doors.

We check out tomorrow and head to the Hilton at the airport. We'll Metro into the city and see a few sights. We pick up Bob and Denise on Friday morning and head to Normandy.
