The adventure begins.... Miami

We're here in Miami at the DoubleTree on Biscayne Blvd. with a fabulous view of Biscayne Bay. We were upgraded to a wonderful corner room and we'll be able to see the ship tomorrow morning when it docks.

It's been a crazy week trying to finish up so many details, not only for us and the trip but for Jim's mom and her appointments and making sure she's taken care of. We are blessed to have her brother and sister-in-law, Uncle Ed and Aunt Martha, just down the street from us. 

Last night, on top of everything else, my laptop died...ugh!  So we had to make an emergency trip to Best Buy to purchase a new one and drop off my old one to the Geek Squad.  We can't check email and I can't do a blog without a computer.  So thankfully my wonderful husband brought the disks necessary to get us up and running tonight.  Thank you sweetie!  I love you!

I also have to be able to Skype...can't do without some Carly love while we're gone.

We're having a low key evening here in this beautiful room. We walked over to Publix and bought some sandwiches, cheesecake and the makings for a Colorado Bulldog, came back to our room and watched the rain come across the bay and getting ready for tomorrow.

Jim and I ask that you keep us in your prayers while we are traveling.  We also hope you enjoy our blog.  I'll post most everyday, even while we're at sea crossing the Atlantic.  Don't hesitate to send us comments and questions along the way.
