We saw land today for the first time in six days. Unfortunately we weren't able to get off the ship. We stopped in Punta Delgada, Azores, to drop off our injured passenger. We have since found out that she fell and broke her hip the second day after we left Nassau Bahamas. It of course caused her to bleed internally, they kept her sedated and we watched as the ambulance drove off. We backed out of the port and were on our way.
We are hoping to get updates as to her condition. Her family got off with her and we continue to pray for her.
Other than that the day was fairly quiet.

Tonight we had dinner with a lovely group of people at the Chef's Table. We started with champagne in the Wine Cellar. We were then given a tour of the kitchen, by the ship's Executive Chef, while they were working. Then dinner in the Murano restaurant with the Chef cooking for us. It was a fabulous evening.
Appetizer and wine.
Our group included couples from Great Britain, Scotland, and the US. After the dinner, we spent several hours of the evening and into the morning debating several interesting topics.
Well it's almost 2:00 AM my time and I'm ready for bed. Here's our position tonight. We'll be in Lisbon, Portugal, on the 26th at 2:00 pm.
Until tomorrow...
